Why Digital Decommercialization

In 2025, big tech companies have consummated their merger with the US government to grab a stranglehold on the global economy. In their wake, they have seized control of the lives of billions across the globe, trampled upon the rights of the very groups that do activism on their platforms, and collaborated with the US police state to harass people of color, deport people ad-nauseum, and spy on us all.

These companies feed us poisonous content that degrades our self worth, and they have filled our feeds with constant advertising for wasteful, bad products that don't matter and will ultimately add to landfills and pollute our environment.

All of this is done in the name of infinite growth, and infinite profit. This is not sustainable.

This website exists to empower non-tech people wit the knowledge of basic things to help decommercialize their digital lives.
